GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Entry to TNS is under the following terms

  • Visitors (including patrons, athletes, coaches, officials, spectators and contractors) are not permitted onsite within this Facility if they are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms. All physical distancing requirements must be adhered to at all times as directed by the venue

  • Persons may be denied entry if they have not complied with the relevant directions of the NT Government Chief Health Officer’s in force at any given time. 

  • The right of admission is reserved. In particular, the Manager and the Hirer reserve the right to refuse entry to, or to remove from, the venue any persons who are disorderly or whose conduct is unlawful or offensive or who are not entitled to attend the Event or match. Any person who causes a disturbance or who refuses to comply with reasonable requests from the Manager or the Hirer may be removed from the venue.

  • Alcoholic beverages must not be taken into or out of the venue. It is an offence for minors to purchase or consume alcohol or for persons to supply alcohol to minors.

  • Bags and other items may be subject to inspection and Patrons may be searched. Patrons who refuse inspections or searches may be denied entry to the venue.

  • Under the Tobacco Control Act (2016) smoking is prohibited in all areas of the venue and its precincts. Patrons who smoke in the venue or who fail to obey a direction from venue management or another authorised person to cease smoking in the venue or its precincts:

    • ​(b) may be immediately evicted from the venue.

    • ​(a) commit an offence against the Act, to which fines apply; 

  • Items which, in the opinion of venue management, have the potential to cause injury or a nuisance or inconvenience to any other person will not be permitted into the venue. These include controlled, dangerous or illegal substances, cans, bottles, flares, fireworks, laser pointers, loud hailers and weapons of any description and may include certain musical instruments, flags and flagpoles and any other items considered by venue management to have the potential to cause injury or a nuisance or inconvenience to any other person.

  • Patrons acknowledge that the Manager or the Hirer may use a Patron’s image or likeness as part of any recording of the Event or match.

  • Unauthorised persons are prohibited from entering the arena and any other area not accessible by the public.

  • Patrons who are, in the opinion of venue management, offensively attired or whose attire may cause a hazard or compromise safety may also be refused entry into the venue.

  • Umbrellas are permitted in the arena but must not be opened or raised once inside the venue at any time.

  • Bags and other belongings must be able to fit under the patron’s seat.

  • Patrons assume all risk of any damage or loss (including property damage, personal injury, economic and consequential loss) however it arises at the venue. Neither the Manager nor the Hirer will be responsible for any damage to or loss or theft of a customer’s personal property.​

  • Whilst the general conditions of entry above apply there will be facility hirers who may have additional conditions of entry from time to time. These will be promoted by the hirer themselves.

 

Manager means Netball NT, which also comprises venue management. Hirer means the person who has hired the venue for the event or match.
